I have read lots of books, bought many things, and visited tons of web sites. It seems people are relying more and more on reviews and opinions of their social network before making a purchase decision, so I thought I could gather in one place all my recommendations.
I only recommend things that I actually used and that I thought was of the highest quality. For example, I’m still trying to find the perfect computer mouse, so I won’t recommend the one I have right now even if I think it’s an ok mouse. Sometimes, there are free or cheap alternatives, especially for software and online services, so I tried to list the ones I liked the most too. Here are the main recommendation categories:
- My Work-Related Bookshelf – computer literature, qualitative research, grammar and style
- My “Novels and Others” Bookshelf – small jewels, essays, hobby
- Computers and Electronics – portable hard drive, speakers, laptops
- Software, Software, Software – photography editor, password keeper
- Online Services – web hosting, photo hosting, survey
- Hanging out on the Web (My Bookmarks) – blogs, research, internet radio
I use these codes for some recommendations:
- FREE - This is a recommendation that won’t cost you a dime.
- EXPENSIVE – This is a recommendation that will cost you an arm, and a leg, and other body parts.
- SHARE – If you follow the link and buy my recommendation, I get a small share.
These pages are under construction, but feel free to drop me a line if you strongly disagree with one of my recommendations or if you have a better suggestion.
