I’m back from the Riviera Maya. I already miss the beautiful beaches, the buffets and the drinks! We had the great opportunity to visit Chichen Itza and took some great pictures, so I would suggest you go straight ahead to my photo album…
Ok, next big thing: moving to another apartment in July. So much fun!
I’m flying tomorrow for a one week vacation in Cancún. Hasta la vista baby!
I’m finally back from Germany and from ICSE’08. It was a wonderful experience and I had the chance to meet great researchers and to attend to interesting talks (well, there were also those talks where you fall asleep because the presenter reads his zillion bullet points). I also got positive feedbacks from my presentation and some researchers gave me pretty good ideas to investigate.
This was also my first trip to Europe and I enjoyed the experience although I could pass waking up at 3 in the morning and falling asleep at 6 pm… I also just uploaded photos of my trip to my photo album.
Here is the plan for the summer: trip to Cancùn, moving to a new apartment, and reimplementing two research tools to release them and make them available for the rest of the community. I really look forward to the following months!

These days, I’m working on many projects, but I’m mostly focused on preparing my presentation for ICSE 2008 and wrapping up my Master’s thesis. I also have an extra source of motivation: I learned that I won an ACM SIGSOFT Best Paper Award for our ICSE article… Cool isn’t it?
By the way, I’m also planning my trip to Germany (ICSE is taking place at Leipzig) and I’ll spend 2-3 days in Berlin. Any suggestions on where to spend my time there?
Here I am, back from a 1 week workshop in Barbados. It was once again a wonderful experience and I learned a great deal on recommendation systems and evaluation. This year, I brought my underwater case and took a couple of underwater pictures (ok, ok, around 400 pictures, but I only but a handful of them online). Visit my gallery to see photos of Bridgetown, the capital of Barbados, coral reefs and sea turtles!
If you are wondering why I’m neglecting this blog (there is always a good reason
), let’s just say that I’m working on two papers: one for OOPSLA ‘08 and one for FSE ‘08. After that, I’ll be working full time on my Master thesis and I expect to be graduating by the end of the summer. Pfew!
I just finished my last exam (for my whole master), so… WOOOOHOOOOO!
Happy to get some spare time during the weekend , I totally changed my photo gallery. Unfortunately, the previous captions and comments are gone, but you can enter new ones and, more importantly, you can now vote on each photo. Rejoice!
I also uploaded the pictures I took during my trip to Atlanta for the International Conference on Automated Software Engineering 2007 and I think there are some pretty cool photos and videos of the Georgia Aquarium. I’m now working on my second Christmas tale, but it will only be written in French…
